Jonus is our first Bernese Mountain Puppy.

One look and he stole our hearts!

The breeder of Jonus was recommened to us by another reputable Bernese Mountain Dog breeder from Scotland.We called to arranged a meeting with her and  were so pleased when she decided to allow us to adopt a Bernese puppy from her and to give us pick of her boys.A date was arranged a few weeks ahead and as you can imagine we were very excited.On that next visit we choose our new Bernese puppy and named him Jonus of Cooriedoon.

Cooriedoon is a word used in Scotland that means snuggle up! It would be used as we settle our children into bed for the night .

We were thrilled and 8 weeks later after several visits we brought Jonus our Bernese puppy home.

It was January 2009 the perfect way to start our year.

Jonus is now 2 years old and we still keep in regular contact with his breeder, she really enjoys the updates and the many pictures we send her to enjoy.Many thanks Janice  and John we love him to bits!!
